Overview:
The Technical Laboratory Manager will oversee the operations and technical functions of the lab at the facility. This role is crucial to the success of the facility and involves managing laboratory operations, performing food product and environmental testing, and ensuring the application and evaluation of approved methodologies. The manager will regularly interact with clients, collaborate with the management team on reviewing and reporting results, and be responsible for supervising the daily workload and staffing of the laboratory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead daily laboratory operations and manage testing of food products and environmental samples.
  • Oversee the application and evaluation of approved techniques and methodologies for food analysis.
  • Collaborate with the management team to review, report, and interpret laboratory results.
  • Supervise lab staff, manage workloads, and ensure efficient lab functioning.
  • Ensure that laboratory activities comply with safety guidelines, policies, and regulations.
  • Provide conflict resolution, policy guidance, and enforce company standards within the team.
  • Maintain a professional and ethical work environment, promoting integrity and teamwork.
