Europcar is looking for a Territory Manager
An opportunity has become available to join as Territory Manager for Central London. The key purpose of this role is to ensure your territory is managed effectively to achieve Company, operational and customer service objectives. Accordingly, you will be expected to maximise the profitability of each rental station through effective staff management, revenue generation, cost management and through the delivery of a great customer experience.
A full, valid clean driving licence, with a minimum of 4 years driving experience is required.

What we are looking for:
Customer Experience:
- Ensure stations are optimised to deliver the best customer experience within agreed budgets through the staff and location
- Continuously review the customer service within each station and determine an action plan to improve any areas to enhance the customer experience
- Ensure rental stations are sufficiently resourced to deliver the required service
- Ensure Company procedures are followed (including rental station standards and procedures) and that all administration is in accordance with the Company standards
Employees:
- Create a culture within the territory where staff are motivated, supported and are committed to delivering a great customer service experience
- Ensure effective communication is in place within the territory
- Develop and manage Managers in the territory in order to deliver a positive contribution to the Company’s bottom line
- Ensure employees within the territory and rental stations are performance managed effectively in conjunction with Station Managers and HR where appropriate
- Identify training and development needs of employees within the territory in association with Station Managers where appropriate
- In conjunction with HR implement and maintain the Company standards in relation to recruitment, discipline, training and employee relations
- Ensure employee costs and headcount are within territory budget
- Ensure that Station Managers are trained to carry out recruitment and disciplinary procedures and that they are aware of, and adhere to Company policies and current legislation
- Ensure that all the territory’s resources are utilised to maximise efficiency
- Responsibility for completion of station audit ‘revisit’, amalgamated audit (twice annually at each station) and completion of ad hoc Territory Manager Checklist
Business Development:
- Ensure rental stations within the territory achieve revenue and profit targets by effective management of station cost lines and continually look for opportunities for business development
- Monitor Key Performance Indicators, on a monthly basis and address any areas of concern with
- the Station Manager and Regional Director
- Assist Regional Directors and Station Managers in the management of outsource providers and
- sub contractors
- Develop and implement consumer revenue opportunities within agreed levels and in conjunction with the Marketing team to achieve consumer revenue targets. Ensure that all marketing and promotional material in rental stations is displayed appropriately
- Be aware of current market share and competitor activity within the territory and utilise this information effectively for market planning
Fleet:
- Work closely with the Regional Fleet Manager to ensure that the planning of fleet within the territory will ensure that the on-rent and utilisation targets are met
- Optimise the use of fleet within the territory
- Work with the Regional Fleet Manager to ensure vehicle related KPIs are met for the territory and region
- Ensure vehicles are prepared in accordance with the Company’s safety and quality control standards
- Ensure the fleet is managed and maintained and that every action is taken to avoid loss
