Data Selections and Imports Officer - Temporary

Our client a leading homeless charity based in central London are seeking an experience Data Selections and Imports Officer, it is essential that applicants have previous experience using a charity CRM preferable Raiser's Edge, Import-o-matic and Faststats.

Take a lead role in selecting data for fundraising and campaigning activities in accordance with selection briefs and existing segmentations. Working closely with colleagues across the organisation to ensure data is delivered accurately, on schedule and such that it contributes maximally to fulfilling campaign objectives.

The post sits within the Data Management & Insight team and is pivotal in maintaining compliance and high levels of data quality in data selections.
The post holder will report to the Selections Manager and is responsible for the design and delivery of accurate and compliant data selections for outbound communication activity.

Manage and execute activity briefs. Acting as main point of contact in the team for the briefing of new campaigns the post holder will work collaboratively with colleagues to understand and inform their activities, distilling their aims into actionable requirements and communicating them to appropriate members of the DMI team for fulfilment
Generate selection briefs and counts in Faststats. As part of working through the activity brief process the post holder will translate the requirements for an effectively targeted campaign into a technically literate data selection and segmentation brief, they will also use this briefs to generate initial segment counts, feeding this back to campaign organisers and working with them to refine the brief as necessary
Deliver data selections and segmentations; the post holder will be required to fulfil finalised data selections and segmentations, ensuring data is delivered accurately, in the required format and to schedule
Database maintenance. The post holder will be required to assist colleagues in the DMI team with database maintenance tasks such as de-duplicating records and running regular diagnostics

Essential experience:

    Experience of performing data selections for outbound communication
    Experience performing large data imports
    Experience of using Raiser's Edge
    Experience of using Import-o-matic
    Experience of using Faststats (highly desirable)
    Working knowledge of fundraising compliance
