Workforce Extensions Geelong is recruiting on behalf of Associated Cold Tread Tyres for a Customer Service Officer to join their busy service reception team. This position is ideal for someone with strong customer service skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and being the first point of contact for customers.
About the Role
Based in the main service office, you will play a key role in supporting daily operations by assisting customers, coordinating service bookings and providing administrative support to the service team.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing first point of contact for customers in person, over the phone and online
- Ensuring customers are assisted promptly and professionally
- Initiating and processing service jobs
- Preparing invoices and processing payments
- Liaising with customers regarding pending, in-progress and completed jobs
- Preparing customer quotes
- Completing various service-related administrative duties
- Supporting the day-to-day operations of the service department
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous customer service experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy environment
- Competent computer and administrative skills
- Experience within the tyre, automotive, mechanical or related industry would be highly regarded
