Aircraft Leasing Contracts and Compliance Manager

My client is a rapid-growth aircraft leasing company which is looking for a Contracts and Compliance Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Development and implementation of internal regulatory compliance policies and procedures in line with Irish regulatory requirements across the Irish aircraft leasing platform;
  • Review and on-boarding of clients and transaction structures for compliance with internal policies;
  • Responsible for reviewing, collating and keeping up to date client due diligence documentation
  • Ensure that all regulatory filings are completed on time including AML, EMIR, CRO and CCR;
  • Ensure general compliance with Irish legal requirements across the portfolio of over 40 Irish entities engaged in aircraft leasing;
  • Identifying key compliance risks facing the business and to provide compliance training and briefings to management
  • Participate in aircraft leasing working groups relating to compliance
  • Ensure all lease and other contracts are recorded accurately on the company’s lease management system
  • Assist in the preparation of or review of intercompany loan agreements across the Irish platform;
  • Assist law firms and other providers with the setting up of Irish SPVs in aircraft leasing transactions;
  • Perform other duties as assigned or requested to support leasing, trading, new deliveries, remarketing etc.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three years’ experience in a compliance, company secretarial, financial services, contract management or corporate administration role related to aviation or aircraft leasing;
  • Bachelor’s degree in law or other suitable discipline;
  • General knowledge of and interest in financial services with specific aviation experience a major advantage.
