Machine Minder & Mixing Operative Opportunities – Food Manufacturing

Location: Bolton, BL3 4DU

Pay: £12.74–£14.01/hr (+ Overtime at £15.92/hr)

Shifts: Monday–Friday (06:00–14:00 / 14:00–22:00 / 22:00–06:00)

GI Group is recruiting for one of Bolton’s leading food manufacturing Client!

Due to expansion, there are immediate openings for Machine Minders and Cream Room/Bakery Mixing Operatives. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to secure a permanent contract.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and set up production line machinery, ensuring consistent and high-quality output.
• Support the mixing crew by combining raw materials per formula specifications and maintaining batch documentation.
• Organise and maintain a sanitary work area.
• Adapt to various duties as needed by production management.

Desirable Skills:

• Comfortable working with minimum supervision.
• Good communication and basic maths skills.
• Physically able to handle repetitive tasks and move items up to 50 pounds.
• Flexible, team-oriented approach.
