Location: Bolton, England (BL3)

Contract Type: Temporary (Full-time, with temp-to-perm potential)

Shifts: AM (6:00–14:00), PM (14:00–22:00), Nights (22:00–6:00)

Pay Rate: £13.74/hour (AM/PM), £15.06/hour (Nights), Overtime at £16.55/hour

What You’ll Do

As a Bakery Mixing Operative, you’ll play a key role in preparing, mixing, and monitoring ingredients to ensure consistent product quality. Working in a fast-paced production environment, your responsibilities will include:

• Operating and monitoring bakery production equipment.
• Accurately weighing and scaling batches of ingredients.
• Preparing dough and supporting the baking process.
• Performing quality checks during production.
• Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in line with food safety standards.
• Completing production records and basic equipment checks.
• Collaborating with supervisors and team members.
• Assisting with packing, labelling, and product handling as needed.

What We’re Looking For

To excel in this role, you’ll need:

Hard Skills:

• Batch weighing and scaling.
• Ingredient knowledge and equipment operation.
• Dough preparation and monitoring.
• Strong numeracy and IT/system operation skills.
• Food safety, hygiene compliance, and record-keeping.
• Manual handling experience.

Experience:

• A minimum of 1 year in bakery, food production, or manufacturing is required.
