The role
An education software company based in Telford are looking for a SDET (Automation Testing, Security Testing, Performance Testing, API) to join their testing team of 4 and take over the automation, load, performance and security testing from their developers. You must have experience with Automation Testing using Selenium and any langauge (Java, C# or Python). As the SSDET (Automation Testing, Security Testing, Performance Testing, API) you will work closely with the developers to plan, develop and execute both manual and automation testing. The company currently use Jmeter for their Load / performance testing but are open to different tools; you will have a lot of creative freedom and influence in the process.
As the SDET (Automation Testing, Security Testing, Performance Testing, API) you must be confortable mentoring other testers in Load, Performance and Security testing and have lots of new ideas. The current environment is a mixture of manual and automation testing so experience with both of these would be beneficial. Ideally F#, C#, Python or Java with Selenium for automation testing.
