We are looking for a collaborative individual to support the MPD Team during quality control of incoming pack materials.
The majority of the workload are manual and repetitive tasks (either performed in the Warehouse, on the Production Line or in an Office environment) involving sampling and inspection of incoming components against clearly defined quality standards and simple recording of findings in Excel.
The successful candidate is able to follow work instructions unsupervised and takes responsibility for the quality and accuracy of their own work. Willingness to flow to-work and support the Team with other ad-hoc tasks such as sending samples of quality defects to suppliers.
Examples of tasks that can be expected:
- Routine sampling of incoming deliveries:
- Working with the Warehouse Team to get pallets dropped from the racking, opening boxes for visual inspection or quality checks using specific gauges (e.g. distortion gauge)
- 100% inspection of rejected boxes to establish defect rate of a specific batch
- Execution of testing protocols e.g. spraying off cans in a lab environment
- Supporting MPD-led trials on the Production Lines
