My client, one of the world’s leading research-based Global Pharmaceutical Company, planning to enter the CNS field with several products at different development stages, are looking for a Medical Manager.
The role:
As a part of the Medical Affairs Department, you will work closely with your colleagues in the CNS area, developing clinical trial plans, interpreting data and providing medical support.

Responsibilities:
- Develop, design or advice in Clinical Trials programs, researching and presenting clinical data.
- Expert input on scientific, medical and regulatory information in support of external and internal customers
- Identify, build and maintain KOLs network
- Maximise the marketing opportunity of the product at both a local and International level and ensure subsequent publications of appropriate clinical data to support portfolio
- Ensure adherence to ABPI code of practice
- Research, collate, present and offer expert opinion on scientific, medical and regulatory information to support both internal and external customers
Requirements:
- You must be a GMC registered physician, pharmacist or post-graduate scientist with the skills and experience to drive the pre-launch medical activities to successful market entries
- Clinical experience – a specialist GP, neurologist, pharmacist or post-graduate scientist
- Experience in driving development of clinical trial programs, researching and presenting clinical data
- Experience in advising on clinical issues in CNS conditions such as schizophrenia, multiple sclerosis, Alzheimer’s, depression.
- Experience in identifying and developing sustainable relationships with external opinion leaders. Confident in communicating and influencing medical strategies with local and global cross-functional teams.
- Ideally you will have Pharmaceutical Industry experience – significant UK medical marketing experience, with a proven track record in delivering ABPI Code compliant pre-launch plans.
- Leadership experience – evidence of developing resource capabilities and disease area expertise within a team. People management experience would be an advantage.
