Our client, a market leader in the Waste Management industry currently require LGV C Drivers to join their successful business on a temporary on-going basis with permanent opportunities available for the right candidates.
Candidates should possess the following-
- LGV C Licence (No more than six points)
- CPC
- DIGI Card
The role is a driver/loader role and some loading will be expected. Experience of the waste management industry is desirable but not essential. This is a fantastic opportunity to get your foot in the door of a national waste management company with great career prospects within a vastly growing industry.
The role is based in Abbingdon and would be commutable from surrounding areas our client is situated close to public transportation links, parking facilities are available for staff, a canteen facility is available for all staff use.
Hours of Work are Monday - Friday 6.30am- Finish (around 3.30pm) (
Rates of Pay £9.78ph PAYE and is weekly pay
Additional benefits package:
- Drivers can and do earn up to £28,000 annual payment with benefits and bonus’ payments, which is a great engaging opportunity.
- Additional bonus payments £60 a week attendance / performance bonus (essentially attendance and missed bin rates will earn this bonus element – so most crews earn this)
- “Man down” money of £20 a day / £100 a week (Man down is paid when a previously 3 man crew is reduced to 2, this is fairly consistent but does depend on the round)
- Overtime is paid after 40 hours, at a rate of £13.78 per hour. The business has opportunity for OT
- Sat/Sun work optional.
