Warehouse Operative

£25,880.40 per annum

Daventry, Northamptonshire

Monday to Thursday 8.30am until 5pm & Friday 7am until 3pm

Permanent – Immediate start available

Our Daventry based client are a well-established small independent manufacturer. They are looking to recruit a motivated individual to join their busy warehouse team as a Warehouse Operative. You will be required to drive the company van and also operate a counterbalance Fork Lift Truck

Warehouse Operative responsibilities include:

• Operate filling machines for dispensing and filling of products into containers
• Packing products into outer cases, palletising, ready for dispatch
• Regular Pallet wrapping
• Putting away pallets of goods received and retrieving containers from stock and preparing for production
• Regular lifting of product
• Other general warehouse duties as required
• Van Driving ( Clean Licence essential)
• Counterbalance Fork Lift Truck Operating (Accredited Licence preferable BUT not essential as training can be given)

Warehouse Operative requirements:

• Previous warehouse / manufacturing experience
• Be self-motivated and able to work on your own or as part of a team
• Good communication skills
• Have a continuous improvement mindset
