About the Role

We are seeking a skilled 5 Axis Laser Setter / Operator to join a busy Manufacturing team. This is a hands-on role responsible for setting and operating 5-axis laser cutting machinery, producing high-quality components in line with production plans and customer specifications.

This opportunity would suit an experienced operator who takes pride in precision, quality, and safe working practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Set and operate 5-axis laser cutting machines to engineering drawings and tolerances
• Manufacture components in line with production schedules and build plans
• Ensure all parts meet quality standards and customer requirements
• Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately
• Monitor machine performance and make adjustments where required
• Maintain a high level of workmanship and attention to detail
• Keep the work area clean, organised, and safe
• Report machine faults, quality issues, or safety concerns promptly
• Support other tasks and projects as required by management

Skills, Knowledge & Experience

Essential:

• Experience operating machinery within a manufacturing environment
• Proven ability to set machinery to meet drawing tolerances and specifications
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
• Experience setting or operating 5-axis laser machinery
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work to deadlines and production schedules
