Major Recruitment is currently working with an extremely successful, high-end independent practice based in Egham.
We are looking for an ambitious, self-motivated Practice Manager, if you’re an experienced Optical Assistant, Dispensing Optician or Assistant Manager looking to take the next exciting step in your career, this could be for you!

You will coach, mentor and develop the practice team and will have the ability to build relationships with eye care and hearing clients.

Details and requirements
- Hours: Monday – Saturday (09:00am - 17:30pm) closed Sundays & Bank Holidays
- Full or part time position considered
- Eligibility to work in the UK and GOC Registered

Core responsibilities
- Ensure the client journey is delivered and so sales targets and deadlines are achieved
- Ensure the practice runs smoothly and is well managed
- Coach, mentor, train and develop the dispensing team and optical assistants
- Providing regular constructive feedback and review meetings
- Assist in ensuring that the practice is adhering and achieving to all operational standards set, including smart booking and diary management
- Ensure all aspects of practice rota’s are managed and that there is sufficient cover available
- Working with other practice managers in the area to maintain adequate cover across the area
