IT Asset Management (ITAM) Manager

Overview
We are seeking a consulting-oriented IT Asset Management (ITAM) Manager with strong security awareness to lead client engagements around enterprise asset governance. The ITAM Manager will help organizations establish technology-enabled ITAM programs that deliver cost optimization, risk reduction, and a defensible asset baseline to support security operations.

Key Responsibilities
Lead ITAM strategy, framework design, and process improvement projects for client organizations. Advise on lifecycle management of hardware, software, and cloud assets, aligning to business and security priorities. Leverage ITAM/CMDB platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, Flexera, Snow, BigFix) to automate discovery, reconciliation, and license compliance. Translate asset data into actionable insights for vulnerability management, incident response, and DLP/DSPM programs. Facilitate workshops with stakeholders (Finance, Procurement, Security, IT Ops) to align ITAM practices with enterprise goals. Develop and deliver ITAM maturity assessments, roadmaps, and KPI dashboards for clients. Ensure ITAM policies and controls support regulatory compliance (ISO 19770, NIST CSF, CMMC, etc.). Coach client teams on operating models and tool adoption to sustain ITAM as a long-term discipline.

Qualifications
7+ years in IT Asset Management or IT Operations with demonstrated security program integration. Consulting or client-facing advisory experience required. Strong knowledge of ITAM platforms and discovery tools (ServiceNow, Flexera, Snow, BigFix, etc.). Familiarity with cloud and hybrid environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and how ITAM supports secure operations. Excellent facilitation, communication, and executive reporting skills. Experience aligning ITAM programs with security outcomes such as vulnerability reduction, incident response readiness, and compliance reporting.
