To work as part of the multidisciplinary team to deliver a high standard of care to patients within our clients hospital. The post holder is responsible for managing the care of patients and the needs of their families, ensuring that high quality is maintained.
Normal working hours will be 39 hours per week
NURSE SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
Registered General Nurse (RGN) with The Nursing Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI), or eligible to register i.e. you must be in procession of a decision letter from the NMBI to undertake a period of adaptation, which must be passed in order to register as an RGN.
Minimum of one year's experience (post graduate or undergraduate) in General Medical/Surgical nursing in an acute hospital setting within the past 4 years.
If you trained in the EU or EEA or come from overseas where English is not your first language or primary language, you will need to demonstrate that you completed the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) Academic Test and achieved an overall score of 7.0. Please attach a copy of the IELTS test report with your completed application form.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to act part of a team
Ability to cope with a varying work load
IELTS English Language (IELTS overall score 7.0 with 6.5 in each module) Overseas qualified
NMBI Registration (Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland) We can provide guidance if you need- below

Registered General Nurse and registered with the NMBI with full work permits
Excellent patient care to a high standard
Excellent interpersonal skills and proven written and verbal communication abilities.
