Our client a top hospital in Dublin South is looking to recruit a Clinical Nurse Manager 2 to join their team. Experience in Urgent Care or ED would be highly desirable.

Emergency Department
Reports to ; Assistant Director of Nursing
Responsible for the provision of the highest standard of nursing care to patients and manage all nursing and allied staff in the Emergency Department (ED) and be responsible for maintaining and developing professional standards.
Responsibilities and Deliverables
HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT
Manage nursing and allied staff within the Department with responsibility for their recruitment, appraisal and development.
Provide professional leadership to encourage and guide team development.
To work with the Clinical Nurse Educator ensuring that all new nursing and allied staff to the department receive appropriate induction training and that they have a clear understanding of their duties, responsibilities and of the standards of performance expected of them.
Pro-actively manage levels of sickness and absenteeism taking corrective action, when necessary.
Person Specification
Registered General Nurse.
Registration with or be registered with NMBI
Relevant post registration course specific to the Emergency nursing.
Recognised management qualification is desirable.
Experience
Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in acute Emergency care environment within the past 5-7 years.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience at senior level.
Evidence of implementing change and practice development in emergency care.
Multidisciplinary team working.
Workload measurement.
