One of the leading nursing home groups is expanding in Ireland and hiring a Group Clinical Operations Manager to be based in North Dublin

The Role

Will suit a skilled and dedicated Clinical Operations Manager.
This role reports to the Group Director of Operations and will work closely the Group Quality and Clinical Practice Lead.

As a Group Clinical Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation and delivery of high-quality care to residents. This is an excellent opportunity for a Registered General Nurse (RGN) with strong leadership abilities and a passion for providing excellent care.


Responsibilities:
• Supporting Directors of Nursing / Persons in Charge in overseeing the daily operations of the nursing home, ensuring compliance with HIQA and relevant regulatory standards and maintaining a safe and nurturing environment.
• Providing direct clinical leadership to the nursing and care staff, supporting, and mentoring them to deliver exceptional care to residents.
• Conducting assessments and developing personalised care plans for residents, considering their individual needs, preferences, and medical histories.
• Auditing and reviewing the administration of medications and treatments as required, ensuring accuracy and adherence to best practice guidelines.
• Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of care plans, making adjustments as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, documentation, and reports in compliance with legal and organizational requirements.
• Any other duties as required by Senior Management.

Requirements:

• Valid registration as a Registered General Nurse (RGN) with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
• Proven experience in a clinical leadership or management role within a nursing home or similar healthcare setting.
• A thorough understanding of regulatory and HIQA requirements, best practices, and quality standards related to elderly care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with residents, their families, and the care team.
• Strong leadership abilities, with the capacity to motivate and inspire a team of healthcare professionals.
• Demonstrated decision-making and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
• Proficient computer skills for documentation and record-keeping purposes.
