About the Role

Reporting to the Payroll Team Leader, this role will see you assisting with the delivery of accurate and timely payroll services. Working within a collaborative team, you will be responsible for end-to-end payroll processing and providing support across payroll-related queries.

Duties

  • End-to-end payroll processing
  • Processing new starters, terminations and employee changes
  • Managing leave calculations and payroll adjustments
  • Interpreting Awards, EBAs and relevant legislation
  • Maintaining accurate employee records
  • Responding to payroll-related queries from employees and stakeholders
  • Processing superannuation, PAYG and payroll reconciliations
  • Assisting with payroll reporting and compliance requirements
  • Supporting the payroll team during a busy period

Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience processing Australian payroll
  • Strong understanding of payroll legislation, Awards and EBAs
  • Experience working in a high-volume payroll environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines
  • Intermediate to advanced payroll systems experience
