This is a temporary opportunity with a strong view to permanency, ideal for someone who can hit the ground running and lead a payroll function through a period of transition and change.

About the Role

In this role you will take ownership of the payroll function and support a small team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of payroll. Key responsibilities include:

• Conduct end-to-end payroll operations

• Lead and mentor payroll team members

• Interpreting multiple EBAs and Awards

• Ensuring compliance with legislative and company policies

• Driving process improvement and system optimisation

• Working with payroll systems such as Chris21, ADP or Dayforce

• Supporting audits, reporting and month-end processes

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience managing a payroll function

• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills

• Sound understanding of payroll legislation, EBAs & awards

• High attention to detail, resilience, and ability to work under pressure

• Available to commence immediately
