Site Engineering Representative 

AL KHALIJ 20” pipeline replacement project

Location : Based in Tianjin, China, with possible missions abroad including Qatar and/or Europe.

main tasks are:

• Demonstrate exemplary behaviour regarding H3SE rules and implement H3SE rules within the area of
responsibility.
• Act as liaison between Company and EPCI Contractor project teams to ensure effective and clear
communications.
• Attend engineering Kick-Off Meetings to verify that the project FEED and Engineering requirements are clearly
understood.
• Ensure engineering documents are timely reviewed and fit for purpose. Coordinate technical meetings to resolve
conflicts and close comments.
• Monitor engineering progress to confirm alignment with project KPIs and promptly inform the project team of any
issues or possible delays/impact on the schedule.
• Verify the Subsea Connector qualification process (if applicable) and design meets the Project Particular Specific
requirements, and check FAT / SIT methods statement demonstrate the system suitability for the intended use,
• Participate in engineering constructability reviews and risk assessment studies; and be accountable for follow-
up closure of actions.
Perform documents quality control of engineering to ensure adherence to the project requirements.

• Experience in management of complex multidisciplinary Engineering Project team, with more than 15-20 years
in Rigid Flowline design and installation in S-Lay method, and pre-commissioning.
• Extensive experience with relevant design codes and standards, including but not limited to DNV, ASME, API,
and ISO.
• Effective communication and strong organizational skills, ability to resolve technical issues. Good knowledge of
the relevant environmental policies and regulations.
• Native Chinese speaker with professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Valid BOSIET certificate (OPITO approved) is not mandatory.
