The basics:

Job title: Sheet Metal Worker

Location: Near Sandiacre

Industry: Precision Engineering 

Shift: Monday (3.00pm to 1.00am) and Tuesday to Thursdays (3.00pm to 12.30am)

Pay: First 3 months £34,155 rising to £36247 after 3 month probation. Once proven you can work up to £39330 basic + overtime earnings of £42000 and upwards are achievable.

Overtime: x1.5 and x2 on Sundays

Key responsibilities of the Sheet Metal Worker:

• Includes bending, cutting, pressing, riveting, marking out, measuring, assembly, deburr, stretching and inspecting all to tight tolerances
• Working to drawings, sketches and verbal instructions.
• Setting and operating machinery supplied for the manufacture of sheet metal components.

The ideal candidate / Sheet metal worker may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually: 

• Time Served Apprenticeship 
• Previous experience working with thin gauge sheet metal
