Quality Inspector required.

Do you have previous experience visually and dimensionally checking machined or fabricated components with hand held measuring tools such as verniers, micrometres, bore micrometers, height gauges etc.

The Basics:

Role: Quality Inspector

Location: Basildon

Position: Permanent

Basic salary: £23.71 per hour / £48083 per annum + overtime = earnings of £53000 and upwards achievable.

Hours: Monday to Thursday 19:00 to 04:00am and Fridays 14:30 to 19:30

Holidays and Benefits: 25 days + 8 bank holidays. Employee Contribution – 5%, Annual pay rise negotiated each year.

We now require a Quality Inspector to join the inspection department. You will be tasked to inspect fabricated and machined components with hand held measuring tools associated with a precision engineering environment.

The ideal candidate / Quality Inspector may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:

• Competent at reading engineering drawings

Competent dimensionally checking precision engineered parts against a drawing using handheld measuring tools such as verniers, micrometres, bore micrometres, height gauges, DTI (Digital Test Indicators) etc.
