The Basics:

Role: Bench Fitter

Location: Redditch

Shift:

Monday to Wednesday 4:30pm to 2:30am and Thursdays 4:30pm to 1:30am (39hrs)

Pay:

Level 1: £16.48 per hour

Level 2: £17.10

Level 3: £17.72

Overtime: available at 1.33 Mon-Fri, 1.5 Saturday and double time Sunday.

Environment: Manufacturing – precision engineering

Role: Permanent

Holidays/Benefits: holidays are calculated in hours but work out to be 5.6 weeks of annual leave per year inc. bank holidays, increasing to 6.6 weeks inc. bank holidays following 1 year of continuous service. Death in Service Benefit – 2 x annual salary. Employer 3% / Employee 5% - Pension.

Overview:

We now require a Bench Fitter to join the metal finishing department.

As the Bench Fitter you will be tasked to finish precision engineered components working to tight tolerances.

The ideal candidate / Bench Fitter may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:

• Competent at reading engineering drawings
• Previous experience working with air powered tools such as – grinders.
