The basics:

Job Title: Production Operative

Shift:

Days - Mon-Thurs (7.00am-3.30pm) and Fri (7.00am-12.30pm)

Afternoons - Mon-Thurs (2.00pm-10.30pm) and Fri (11.00am-4.30pm)

(The afternoon shift is not regular and approx. working every 6-8 weeks)

Note:

In the future, we anticipate the requirement to work night shifts – so anyone taking on the role must be prepared to do these hours: Mon-Wed (8.00pm-5.30am) and Thurs (8.30pm-5.30am)

Pay:

Days: £12.82 per hour
Afternoons: £16.02 per hour
Nights: £17.05 per hour should a requirement be needed.

Earnings: 

£25,000 minimum (working days only) with earnings of £30,000 and upwards achievable due to the afternoon shift premium.

Benefits: 33 days holiday, Bonus, Pension scheme (5% employer contribution), Death-in-service payment (4x salary)

Overview:

Working in first class manufacturing facilities for a company that have production sites across the world we now require additional Production Operative to join business. This is a permanent role employed directly to the company who can offer stability due to the products that they make.

Overview of duties:

• Picking and sorting of product from the machinery
• Boxing and bagging ready for dispatch
• Aiding the machine setters – ensuring material availability
• Working on the clean room to finish the product
• Machine minding

The ideal candidate / Production Operative may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:

• Previous experience working in a production environment – packing, bagging and boxing ready for dispatch.
• Worked in hands on production role – ensuring material availability for production.
