Job Title: Quality Inspector

Location: Wickford

Industry: Precision Engineering

Shift: Monday to Thursday (7.00am to 4.00pm) and Fridays (7.30am to 12.30pm)

Pay: £18.54/£37,599 per annum plus overtime = earnings of £40,000 and upwards achievable

Contracted hours per week: 39hrs

Overtime: Mon-Sat x1.5 and Sun x2

Overview:

We now require a Quality Inspector to join the team. You will be tasked to dimensionally inspect parts against engineering drawings using hand held measuring tools associated in a precision engineering environment – Verniers, callipers, height gauges, bore micrometers etc.

Key responsibilities of the Quality Inspector role:

• Visually and dimensionally inspect metal precision engineered components

The ideal candidate / Quality Inspector may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:

• Must have previous experience using handheld measuring tools such as verniers, callipers etc.
• Experience reading engineering drawings
• Previous experience dimensional checking machined and fabricated components
