Salary: GBP34155 - GBP39330 per annum + + overtime

The basics:

Pay: £34155 rising to £36247 after 3-month probation. Once proven rates of £37375 and £39330 achievable.

Shift pattern: Monday - Thursday - 7.00am-4.00pm, Friday - 7.00am-12.00pm

Overview:

Working within first class manufacturing facilities we now require a Sheet Metal Worker to join the day shift. You will be working for a well established precision engineering business that have sites across the UK.

Key responsibilities of the Sheet Metal Worker role:

·       Includes bending, cutting, pressing, riveting, marking out, measuring, assembly, deburr, stretching and inspecting all to tight tolerances

·       Working to drawings, sketches and verbal instructions.

·       Setting and operating machinery supplied for the manufacture of sheet metal components.

 The ideal candidate / Sheet Metal Worker may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:

  • Time Served Apprenticeship 
  • Previous experience working with thin gauge sheet metal
  • Previous experience bending, cutting, pressing, riveting, marking out, measuring, assembly, deburr, stretching metals.
