The basics:

Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

Industry: Manufacturing

Hours: Days – Monday to Friday – flex – approx. example 8am to 4pm

Location: Kettering

Pay: up to £50000 + call out paid at £40 per call out and at x1.5 overtime rates (call out on a rota basis and shared) = earnings of £55000 and upwards achievable 

Holidays: 27 + 8 bank holidays.

Pension: Company pay 5% pension contribution.

Overview:

Working in a first-class, modern, purpose-built manufacturing facility; we now require a Maintenance Engineer to join the electrical team.

Key responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer role:

• To maintain service and repair all automated plant machinery to minimise production down time.
• Provide technical support on all projects, installations and breakdowns
• PPM’s

The ideal candidate / Maintenance Engineer may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:

• Time served apprentice trained or above
• Previous experience working in a maintenance focused role within a manufacturing/production environment or similar
• An electrical certification
