Salary: GBP32000 - GBP33000 per annum

The Basics:

Role: Administrator – Engineering department.

Location: Alcester

Pay: Circa £33000 working 25.5hrs per week

Hours: Flexible to suit – 25.5hrs could be spread over 4 days for example/negotiable start and finish times

Environment: Manufacturing – precision engineering

Role: Fixed until end of March 2026 – this has strong chance of being made permanent and will be discussed at interview.

Holidays/Benefits for full time: holidays are calculated in hours but work out to be 5.6 weeks of annual leave per year inc. bank holidays, increasing to 6.6 weeks inc. bank holidays following 1 year of continuous service. Death in Service Benefit – 2 x annual salary. Employer 3% / Employee 5% - Pension.

Overview:

We now require a Administrator to join the Engineering department. This role will be an organising role, working closely with the Health/Safety and Facilities/maintenance manager.

You will be tasked to help organise the department from an administrative perspective – aiding the Health/Safety and Facilities/maintenance manager with daily tasks.

The ideal candidate / Administrator may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:

-            Previous experience working in an organising/admin focused role

-            Knowledge of Microsoft packages – Word etc.

-            The desire to work in a busy manufacturing environment.
