The Basics:
Role: CNC Programmer – Setter, Operator – Milling section
Position: Permanent
Location: Kirkby in Ashfield
Shifts choice available:
Days only: Mon-Thurs (7.30am to 4.30pm) and Fridays (7.30am-12.30pm)
OR
Days & Nights rotating: Mon-Thurs (7.30am to 4.30pm) and Fridays (7.30am-12.30pm), rotating every 2 weeks with Mon-Wed 8:30pm to 7am and Thurs 8:30pm to 6am.
Contracted hours per week: 39hrs
Pay rates our dependent on experience:
Level 1: £16.97 per hour for days and £22.57 per hour for nights
Level 2: £17.77 per hour for days and £23.63 per hour for nights
Level 3: £18.55 per hour for days and £24.67 per hour for nights
Level 4: £19.36 per hour for days and £25.74 per hour for nights
Level 5: £20.16 per hour for days and £26.81 per hour for nights
Overtime: Paid at x1.5
Holidays/Benefits: 33 days, 13 weeks company sick pay, 4% pension contribution.
Overview:
Working in modern, purpose-built manufacturing facilities we now require a CNC Programmer to join the milling section.
The ideal candidate / CNC Programmer may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:
- Time served engineering apprenticeship
- Must have previous CNC Milling experience – programming from drawing online at the machine.
- Be able to program/edit online at the machine – Heidenhain, Mazatrol, Siemens, Fanuc controls all considered.
- Competent at reading and interpreting technical drawings
Commutable from: Kirkby in Ashfield, Alfreton, Mansfield, Derby, Ilkeston, Clay Cross and surrounding areas.
