The basics:

Job Title: Maintenance Engineer - Mechanical Maintenance Engineer.

Hours: Monday to Friday 8am to 4:30pm

Pay: £45,000 + overtime =earnings of £50,000 and upwards achievable

Location: Maesteg

Overtime: x1.5 Mon-Sat (Day) and x2 on Sat (Night)-Sun

Holidays: 24 days + 8 bank holidays

Overview:

Working in a modern, purpose built, clean manufacturing environment for a company that have facilities globally, we now require a maintenance engineer to join the day shift.

Key responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer role:

• To maintain service and repair all automated plant machinery to minimise production down time.
• To provide technical support on all projects, installations and breakdowns
• PPM's

The ideal candidate / Maintenance Engineer may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:

• Time served apprenticeship
• Previous experience working in a mechanical role within a manufacturing/ production environment or similar – maintenance and fault finding.
