The basics:

Role: Mechanical Design Engineer – Automation/Automated machinery

Location: Castle Donington 

Salary: Up to £50,000 DOE 

Hours: Flex - Monday to Thursday (8hrs) start time between 7.00am and 8.30am and Fridays (6hrs) start time between 7.00am and 8.30am (38hr week)

Holidays and Benefits: 33 days, pension 4% by employer, death in service x2 salary

Team size/structure: Working in the design team that consist of 5 Design Engineers and reporting to the Engineering Director.

Overview:

We now require an additional Mechanical Design Engineer to join the team. Working in modern purpose-built manufacturing facilities for a company that manufacture bespoke automated machinery.

You will be working in a first-class engineering environment that have processes such as machining, fabrication and a number of outsourced processes also.

As the Mechanical Design Engineer you will be working in a technical role managing projects for the customer from start to finish.

The ideal candidate/Mechanical Design Engineer may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:

• Previous experience working with Solidworks
• Previous experience designing automated machinery.
• Educated to degree level in design, engineering or similar
