The Company

The payroll team is currently undergoing a period of transformation and requires assistance as they undertake a number of changes.
The Role
Reporting to the Finance Manager this role will see you take ownership of the payroll process. Your duties will include:
- Timely and accurate payroll processing
- Understanding & interpretation of EBAs and awards
- Payroll reconciliation
- Employee database maintenance including the adding of new employees
- Payroll compliance, superannuation, payroll tax, workers’ compensation, PAYG
- Testing of payroll processes
- Updating of policies and procedures
- Month-end reporting
- Payroll query resolution

Your Profile

- Ability to take ownership of a role
- A high degree of accuracy & ability to work to deadlines
- Experience and working knowledge with payroll systems
- Ability to quickly pick up systems & processes
- Strong attention to detail
An understanding of the SCHADS award will be essential for this role.
This temporary role will be ongoing and could lead to a permanent opportunity.
