We’re excited to be partnering with this Fintech, as their values around D&I and new ways of working align so well with us. I’m looking for highly experienced Java software engineers to join them, offering fully remote working with occasional travel to the office for meetings. Over the past 6 months, they have hired and onboarded over 60 new employees and will continue to grow throughout the rest of this year and 2021.

As a Software Engineer/Senior Software Engineer, you’ll be involved with developing, testing and maintaining high quality production features for microservices and APIs, their platform has a transformational end-to-end architecture which have been designed to start an entire new way of banking.
Skills required:
- Strong systems design experience
- Java 8 and frameworks (Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Security)
- Experience in building RESTful APIs
- SQL Databases (e.g, MySQL, PostgreSQL, CockroachDB)
- Continuous Integration
- Any experience with Big data/streaming technologies (Kafka, Spark, Hadoop, Kenesis)
- Building and operating systems on AWS
- TDD/BDD
Very advantageous:
- Banking industry experience
- Docker, Kubernetes
- Demonstratable experience of mentoring junior software engineers.

As mentioned, this is a predominately remote working role however there will be some occasional travel to the London office, a handful of times a year. On the other hand if you are someone who would like to work in the office more than that, the option is there to do so.
