Surveyor – Passive Fire Protection
Nationwide - Temporary to Permanent
£180-200/day
Our client, a NW based leading passive fire protection organisation, require an experienced fire protection surveyor to carry out surveys on fire protection works to sheltered accommodation, high rise flats, hotels and hospitals across the UK.
Duties will include surveying cavity barriers, fire dampers, fire rated partitions/fire curtains and fire doors
You will have comprehensive knowledge of all aspects in surveying of fire stopping procedures and products, including, batt, mastic, fire seals & flexible cavity barriers.
You will have the ability to read technical drawings and be a clear communicator to liaise with the site team and your supervisor.
You will have comprehensive knowledge of fire ratings and how they differ depending on the specific building structure.
It is likely that you will be required to work in a customer facing environment and as such, we require someone who is polite, presentable and carries themselves in a professional manner at all times.
You will have a minimum of 2 years fire protection surveying experience, CSCS, own transport, NVQ2/3 Passive Fire Protection or FIRAS and SSSTS.
