Despatch Checker - Worksop

At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Despatch Checker to work with a leading logistics company in Worksop. This role is vital for ensuring the accuracy and quality of all outbound loads before they leave the facility.

Shift patterns:
• 18:00 - 02:00, Monday to Friday, Fixed shift.

Pay rates:
• 13.20 GBP hourly.

Essential requirements for Despatch Checker:
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience using WMS and handheld scanners.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership.
• Understanding of warehouse safety procedures.

Desirable requirements for Despatch Checker:
• Previous dispatch or warehouse experience.
• Experience working with WMS systems.
• Knowledge of stock control processes.
• FLT/PPT/LLOP experience or licences.
• Experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Good understanding of outbound operations.

Role for Despatch Checker:
• Verify pallets and parcels against WMS dispatch notes.
• Check SKU accuracy, quantities, batch codes, and dates.
• Escalate any discrepancies to the management team.
• Maintain high safety and quality standards within the warehouse.
• Support the smooth running of daily dispatch operations.
