Warehouse Operative - Rochdale

At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to work with a leading sports retailer in Rochdale. This role involves general warehouse duties, including picking and packing customer orders, managing stock, and using handheld scanners to ensure accuracy.

Shift Patterns:
• 18:00-06:30 or 18:30-06:30
• 4 on 4 off rotation

Pay Rates:
• 12.81 GBP hourly

Essential Requirements for Warehouse Operative:
• Reliable and punctual with the ability to commit to 12-hour shifts, including weekends.
• Good spoken and written English to understand safety instructions.
• Basic maths skills for counting and simple calculations (e.g., if you have 45 items and pack 15, how many items remain to be packed?).
• Comfortable with manual handling, standing, and walking for long periods.

Desirable Requirements for Warehouse Operative:
• Ability to read and follow on-screen instructions on a handheld scanner.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
• Strong team player with clear communication skills.
