Essential requirements for Forklift driver:
• 6-12 months reach truck driving experience
• Loading and unloading goods
• Pallet handling and stacking
• Working in a busy warehouse environment
• Safe load handling and hazard identification
• Pedestrian safety awareness
• No history of serious safety violations
• Ability to complete pre-use checks
• Able to operate machinery for extended periods and handle manual tasks
• Good level of English
Desirable requirements for Forklift driver:
• Additional forklift licenses
• Trained in manual handling and working at height
• Background experience in the retail industry
• Ability to meet or exceed KPIs
• Work well under pressure
• Willingness to support picking and other departments
Role for Forklift driver:
• Load and unload goods from lorries, delivery vans, and shipping containers
• Move pallets, equipment, and stock to designated storage bays or shelves
• Perform daily pre-shift safety inspections on the forklift
• Use handheld scanners or warehouse management systems to log stock movements
• Maintain a clean work area and follow health and safety regulations
