Warehouse operative - Burton upon Trent

At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Warehouse operative to work with a leading bookseller in Burton upon Trent. This role involves essential warehouse duties to support the daily operations of a busy distribution site.

Shift patterns:
• Working any 5 days out of 7, including Sundays.
• Shifts include 06:00-14:00, 08:00-16:00, 10:00-18:00, 12:00-20:00, or 14:00-22:00.

Pay rates:
• 13.14 GBP hourly

Essential requirements for Warehouse operative:
• Must be over 18 years old.
• Must be able to travel to and from the site for late-night finishes.
• Must be available to work every Sunday as part of the regular schedule.
• Must be comfortable performing repetitive manual tasks, including lifting and standing for most of the shift.
• Must live within a 15-mile radius of the site.
• Full time hours only.

Desirable requirements for Warehouse operative:
• Previous warehouse experience.

Role for Warehouse operative:
• Picking and packing books and managing stock.
• Reporting any damages or quality issues found whilst undertaking duties.
• Working to standard operating procedures in line with company policy.
• Maintaining high levels of Health and Safety awareness.
• Assisting with inventory counting and stock investigations.
