Production Operative - Northampton

At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Production Operative to work with a leading food manufacturing company in Northampton.

Shift Patterns:
• 5 out of 7 days per week, including weekends
• Night shift: 10PM - 6:30AM
• Overtime available after 42 hours
• Includes a 20-minute tea break and a 30-minute unpaid meal break

Pay Rates:
• 14.95 GBP hourly , OT 18.69 GBP hourly

Requirements for Production Operative:
• Demonstrate a willingness to learn daily tasks
• Follow supervisor instructions respectfully
• Work as a team by helping coworkers whenever needed

Role for Production Operative:
• Work on a fresh production line
• Assist with the overall production process
• Pack and wrap food products
• Perform quality control to identify and remove defective items
• Follow recipes to mix and cut ingredients using machinery or baths
• Weigh and measure ingredients according to customer specifications
• Store and stack food in designated areas
• Handle various types of meat and maintain high hygiene standards
