Production Operative - Northampton

At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Production Operative to work with a leading food manufacturing company in Northampton. This role involves working on a fresh production line, ensuring high standards of quality and efficiency.

Shift patterns:
• 5 out of 7 days per week, including weekends
• Night shift: 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM
• Overtime available after 42 hours
• Includes a 20-minute tea break and a 30-minute unpaid meal break

Pay rates:
• 14.95 GBP hourly

Requirements for Production Operative:
• Demonstrate a willingness to learn daily tasks
• Follow supervisor instructions respectfully
• Work as a team by helping coworkers whenever needed

Role for Production Operative:
• Assist with the production process on a fresh food line
• Pack and wrap food products efficiently
• Perform quality control checks and remove defective items
• Follow recipes to mix or cut ingredients using machinery
• Weigh and measure ingredients according to customer specifications
• Handle various types of meat and maintain hygiene standards
• Store and stack food in designated areas
