Class 1 Driver – NEW INCREASED PEAK RATES up to £29.31 per hour

Are you an experienced Class 1 Driver looking for regular work with excellent earning potential? Job&Talent is recruiting Class 1 Drivers on behalf of one of the UK's leading logistics companies in Chesterfield.

With peak uplifts of up to £7 per hour, drivers can earn up to £29.31 per hour throughout November and December.

The site operates 24/7, with flexible start times and a range of shift patterns available, making this a great opportunity to secure ongoing work and maximise your earnings during peak.

NEW INCREASED PEAK RATES

  • £20.33 – £25.31 per hour with £3 peak uplift 
  • £22.33 – £27.31 per hour with £5 peak uplift
  • £24.33 – £29.31 per hour with £7 peak uplift

Standard rates

  • £17.33 – £22.31 per hour depending on shift
  • Increased peak rates paid throughout November and December
  • 24/7 operation, 7 days a week
  • Flexible start times and shift patterns available

The Role

  • Trunking, and RDC deliveries across the UK road network
  •  Operating refrigerated units
  • Pre- and post-vehicle safety checks
  •   Completing PODs, and delivery paperwork
  •  No interaction with the load

Essential Requirements

  • Full UK Driving Licence (Category C+E)
  • Valid Digital Tachograph Card
  • Current Driver CPC qualification
  • Minimum 12 months' Class 1 experience
  • No more than 6 penalty points (DR, DD, IN, and TT endorsements not accepted)

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with RDC, trunking, and store deliveries
  •  Strong knowledge of UK roads and distribution centres
  •  Reliable, punctual, and customer focused
