Forklift Driver - Dunstable

Introduction: At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Forklift Driver to work with a leading retail company in Dunstable. This role involves operating reach trucks in a fast-paced warehouse environment, ensuring stock is handled safely and efficiently.

Shift Patterns:
• Any 5 out of 7 days

Pay Rates:
• 17.84 GBP hourly

Essential Requirements for Forklift Driver:
• 6-12 months of Reach truck driving experience
• Proven ability in loading, unloading, and pallet handling
• Experience working in busy warehouse environments
• Strong understanding of safe load handling and pedestrian safety
• Ability to complete pre-use equipment checks
• Good level of English proficiency

Desirable Requirements for Forklift Driver:
• Additional forklift licences
• Training in manual handling and working at height
• Background experience in the retail industry
• Ability to meet or exceed productivity KPIs
• Capacity to work well under pressure

Role for Forklift Driver:
• Operate FLT equipment safely and efficiently
• Load, unload, move, and store stock accurately
• Conduct daily equipment checks and report defects
• Maintain awareness of pedestrians and surroundings
• Support warehouse teams and follow management instructions
