Forklift Driver - Dunstable

At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Forklift Driver to work with a leading company in the retail sector in Dunstable. You will be working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, focusing on picking and packing using a Reach truck, alongside other general warehouse duties.

Shift patterns:
• Any 5 out of 7

Pay rates:
• 15.87 GBP hourly

Essential requirements for Forklift Driver:
• 6-12 months forklift reach truck driving experience
• Loading and unloading goods
• Pallet handling and stacking
• Experience working in busy warehouse environments
• Safe load handling and pedestrian safety
• Hazards identification
• No history of serious safety violations
• Ability to complete pre-use checks
• Ability to sit and operate machinery for extended periods
• Ability to handle manual tasks when required
• Good level of English

Desirable requirements for Forklift Driver:
• Additional forklift licences
• Trained in manual handling and working at height
• Background experience in the retail industry
• Ability to meet or exceed KPIs
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Willingness to support picking and other departments

Role for Forklift Driver:
• Operate Reach trucks for efficient picking and packing
• Load and unload goods safely and accurately
• Perform daily pre-use machinery checks
• Maintain high standards of warehouse safety and hazard awareness
• Support various warehouse departments as needed
