Job&Talent works in partnership with Macmillan Distribution, and are proud to be recruiting for the Warehouse Picker role below which is on-site at Macmillan Distribution working for Jobandtalent. Macmillan distributes books far and wide. This is a role for the fast paced (but accuracy is essential!) as without your hard work our customers would not be serviced. Through a headset you’ll be given instructions to pick and pack selected books for each customer, and it’s vital you keep up with the pace.
Shift Patterns:
- Working hours are Sunday – Thursday 10pm -6am
Pay Rates
- Salary: Nights £12.96p/h
- Overtime paid at x1.5 rate (over 37.5 hours)
- Weekend overtime paid at x2 rate
As a Warehouse Picker you will need to have:
- Able to work as part of a team
- Able to work with a high degree of accuracy
- Able to pick items quickly (through voice headset)
- Maintaining a safe & clean working environment
- General warehouse duties
- Be able to walk for the duration of your shift
- Be able to pick up to 25kg
