Job Description: PMO Specialist

From Huxley IT, for one of our best clients, we are searching for a PMO Specialist. you will play a crucial role in supporting the Delivery & Performance Manager. Your responsibilities will include tracking budgets, managing the project portfolio, ensuring adherence to internal processes and methodologies, and fostering cross-team alignment.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in a PMO, project coordination, or IT operations role.
  • Strong understanding of financial processes, contracts, and procurement in an IT context.
  • Solid understanding of project management methodologies and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Confluence, Jira, or similar).
  • Advanced skills in Excel and financial reporting; Power BI is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Knowledge of project governance frameworks (e.g., PMBOK, PRINCE2, Agile) is an asset.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the preparation of budgets in collaboration with Finance and Digital teams.
  • Prepare and update financial reports, forecasts, and variance analyses.
  • Ensure accurate allocation of expenses and time tracking for projects.
  • Monitor and track project budgets.
  • Raise and track purchase orders, ensuring timely approvals and invoicing.
  • Maintain documentation of contracts, statements of work (SOWs), and service agreements.
  • Ensure compliance with internal procurement and vendor management policies.
  • Enforce adherence to the organization's IT governance framework and project management standards.
  • Collaborate with project managers, digital leads, finance, and procurement teams.
  • Serve as a central point of contact for project administration and reporting within Business Solutions.
  • Assist in resource planning, utilization tracking, and onboarding new project team members.
  • Prepare presentations and dashboards for senior management and executive reporting.
