Head of Home Care

Head of Home Care (BBBH4125) Northumberland, England

Salary: GBP60000 - GBP65000 per annum + + Company Benefits

Hampton’s are working exclusively in partnership with Age UK Northumberland, a recognized and respected Northumberland based charity to recruit a of Head of Homecare.  Age UK Northumberland believe in supporting all older people across the county in living their best lives and as a care provider, pride themselves on their personalised approach to their care provision. In addition to its Charitable activities Age UK Northumberland is one of the leading providers of Homecare in Northumberland providing between 6500 and 8000 hours of care per week.

 

Reporting to the Chair of the Board of the Trustees and Home Care Sub Committee Board, the successful applicant will be responsible and accountable for the successful delivery of all Homecare and associated service ensuring operational performance remains high whilst maintaining CQC “Good” rating and striving for “Outstanding” rating.

 

People and networking skills will be essential in this role to support Age UK Northumberland with their strategic ambitions. With an established infrastructure already in place to achieve these plans, this addition to the Senior Leadership team will be expected to add value and help to collectively deliver on the strategic plans.

 

Salary: £60,000 (negotiable) + Company benefits

Location: Northumberland

 

Candidates suitable for this post will be able to demonstrate:

 

  • Evidence and success in a senior level role in the Adult Social care sector.
  • A strong track record with regulatory compliance.
  • Having significant experience of managing multiple/large services.
  • Being accountable for the financial and operational performance.
  • Experience of managing large, diverse teams.
  • Good relationship management skills and experience of building commercial relationships.
  • Strong understanding of the Care Inspectorate standards and compliance regulations.
  • Strong people and networking skills.
  • Strong leadership and team building skills.

The successful candidate will need to be a ‘visible leader’ and so home working will be minimum for the first year to 18 months at least.  Age UK – Northumberland currently provide circa 6500-8000hrs of work per week across the region of Northumberland.
