System Analyst – Data Base Administration / Tableau / Excel / English

For our client Roche Diagnostics in Rotkreuz we are looking for a System Analyst.

The Analytics & Insights team works as part of the Portfolio and Project Management group in Roche
Diagnostics division to help our stakeholders make informed decisions using data. Our team
members bring a diverse set of capabilities and skills, such as data management, business
intelligence, statistics, and advanced modeling. This role in particular will primarily focus on
supporting users of various systems and tools with onboarding and technical issues resolution to
ensure data consistency and completeness.
The perfect candidate:
We are looking for a Systems Analyst who can serve as a consultant, supporting expert, and an agent
of change to a diverse community of project and portfolio managers, program leads, functional
managers, and Finance and IT business partners.
Areas of responsibility:
- Provide primary technical support to users of various business systems by responding to technical
incidents, troubleshooting and/or escalating issues, and following up on resolution
- Create and maintain a library of user manuals, best practices, and other supporting documentation
- Develop, maintain, and host systems and relevant business processes training for new and existing
users
- Prepare and execute system testing plans following upgrades and data migration
- Serve as a liaison between IT and business systems users to ensure an accurate translation of
business requirement into system modifications and enhancements
- Develop tools and data quality checks to proactively monitor data integrity, consistency, and
completeness
- Manage RDS resource structure and system related master data
- Support regular divisional project budget planning and snapshot preparation
- Partner with team members to develop and support reporting tools and project planning templates
- Actively participate in the cross-divisional Service, Support & Administration community and other
system governance bodies
- Moderate meetings and workshops
- Represent the team in global process improvement projects and initiatives
Professional and technical requirements:
• Min. Bachelor degree or equivalent years of experience with preferred focus in information
technology, computer science, engineering, or life sciences (****)
- Min. 2-4+ years of experience system support, database administration, dataflow and business
analysis or related field (information technology) (****)
- Strong understanding of system engineering concepts (****)
- Experience in Business intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau) (****)
- Proficiency with Excel (****)
- Fluency in English (spoken and written)
- Deep passion for customer support and operational excellence
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and client-handling skills, with the ability to manage
expectations and explain technical detail
- Highly analytical and problem solving mindset
Nice to Haves:
- Previous Roche experience
- German is an advantage
- Experience in rolling out technology tools and processes (desirable)
