Professional Software Engineer (m/w/d) – C++ / C# / .NET / Linux / Pharma / English
Role:
For our client Roche Diagnostic based in Rotkreuz we are looking for a Professional Software Engineer (m/w/d).
Areas of responsibility:
- Performs software development tasks as specified by the project team, the technical leader or
direct supervisor.
- Predominantly independent execution of work assignments that require a good level of
specialist knowledge and understanding of operational interrelationships. Planning, estimation,
design, implementation, testing, and documentation of these assignments.
- Follows the software development/architecture quality standards relevant for the assigned work
packages.
- Documentation of the design, processes, and workflow in shareable documents for future reuse
and adoption.
- Works closely with many other teams to adopt our platforms and components.
- Provides work status and issue notification within the software development team and if
required to software project management.
- Seeks opportunities in our day-to-day workflow to improve quality and efficiency from ideation to
deployment.
- Develops into a specialist for an area of activity within his/her field.
- Cross-departmental project collaboration or management of small projects in the area of
expertise.
- Representing superiors in specialist issues.
- Advising, supporting, and as necessary schooling of other co-workers
Professional and technical requirements:
• Thorough knowledge of C++ and C
- Good knowledge of C# programming and .NET
- Experience working as SW engineer in an agile team for at least 2 – 5 years preferably in the
pharma sector
- Experience with Linux
- Degree in computer science or equivalent needed
- English skills verbal and written are a must
- Working Model mixed - working on-site in Rotkreuz and also in home office
