Configuration Analyst - Cleared (2020-CMDB) Dahlgren, Virginia
Dunhill has an immediate opening for a Configuration Analyst to provide Navy Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI) Next Generation Enterprise Network (NGEN) contract and legacy equipment support.
Responsibilities:
- Manages standard operating procedures in adherence to Navy initiatives, Functional Area Manager (FAM) processes and NAVSEA/NSWC directions.
- Maintains knowledge of NGEN Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) configurations needed to support the NSWCDD mission.
- Evaluates new NGEN CLIN offerings found on the NMCI Homeport (https://www.homeport.navy.mil).
- Provides recommendations on the optimal use of new offerings to support NSWCDD user requirements.
- Provide seat refresh assistance in support of the ACTR to include software and peripherals seat mapping information, deployment notification letters, asset inventory/identification, Seat Refresh Tracker assistance and issue resolution.
- Researches and obtains information for routine and moderately complex reports and special assignments typically using software packages for word processing, spreadsheets and databases.
- Assists with the development and maintenance of tools (e.g., spreadsheets, databases) used to collect and track NET and MAC data required for a variety of seat order validation reporting requirements.
- Uses advanced MS Excel macros to enhance and expedite data extraction and reporting.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Verifying and submitting Move, Add, Change (MAC) and Service Requests using the HP Service Manager and NMCI Electronic Tool (NET) tools.
- Utilizing the following databases in the verification process: NMCI Electronic Tool (NET), ISF Tools and DADMS.
- Monitoring completion process of HP Service Manager and NET MAC tickets.
- Setting up user profiles and accounts in the NMCI Electronic Tool (NET) database.
- Ensuring accuracy of NET database.
- Ordering, transferring, canceling and approving NGEN IT hardware, software and services in the NET database.
- Manage distribution, security groups and NMCI user profiles providing updates to Active Directory.
- Attends the Site Integration Team (SIT) meeting and provides Naval Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI) support information as required to include preparation of SIT minutes and distribution.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Prefer 2-5 years of professional experience as a NEN Analyst, IT Asset Manager or related field.
- Knowledge of NMCI policies, procedures, terminology, operations, and Enterprise Processes is preferred.
- Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint. Specifically requires the ability to create and use Macros in MS Excel.
- Must possess the ability to multi-task and teach or assist others with NMCI related issues.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts.
- Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team.
- Active Secret clearance required.
